The Mix Bus Plugin Manager 0.1.3

A reliability release — updating the Plugin Manager itself now lands a build that actually launches.

  • Launchable after update — a self-update was unpacking the new build without its executable permission, so the freshly updated Manager couldn't open and had to be redownloaded; updates are now extracted with macOS's own archiver, which preserves the permission the app needs to run.

  • Checked before it swaps — the Manager now confirms the new build is genuinely launchable, not just correctly signed, before it replaces the running app, so a faulty download can't leave you without a working Manager.

If an earlier self-update left the Manager unable to open, grab it once more from The Mix Bus site — from 0.1.3 on, updating itself lands a build that runs.
